What we do
Supply. Install.
Service. Repair.
One team for the whole life of your pool heat pump. We supply and install new units across Pretoria, keep them running with scheduled servicing, and repair the faults that leave a pool cold in the middle of summer.
Install
Heat pump installation
Level mounting, correct bypass and pipework, electrical connection and full commissioning with a temperature test before we leave site.
Service
Heat pump servicing
Coil clean, refrigerant and pressure check, electrical inspection and control calibration — the cheapest way to protect your unit and your bill.
Repair
Heat pump repairs
Not heating, tripping the breaker or showing an error code? We diagnose pool heat pump faults, source the parts and get you back to temperature.
Maintain
Maintenance & winter care
Seasonal checks, filter and bypass maintenance and running-cost advice so the unit performs every time you switch it on.
Not sure which unit you need?
Send us your pool size and a photo of the pump area. We'll recommend a kW rating and quote the supply and install together.

Why Legacy Air
Engineered heating,
not guesswork.
A pool heat pump only pays you back when it is sized, sited and set up correctly. Legacy Air handles the whole job — supply, installation, commissioning, servicing and repairs — so one team is accountable for the water temperature.
Sized on site, not guessed
We work out your pool volume and heat loss before recommending a kW rating, so the unit heats in the hours you actually swim.
Qualified refrigeration technicians
Refrigerant handling, gas charging and leak repair done by trained technicians — not a general handyman with a spanner.
Neat, quiet installations
Anti-vibration mounts and sensible placement keep the unit out of sight and the noise away from bedrooms and neighbours.
Local support, real response times
We are based in Pretoria, so call-outs and repairs happen in days rather than weeks — especially before a long weekend.
How it works
From first call to warm water.
A straightforward process, whether you need a new pool heat pump installed or an existing unit repaired before the season starts.
- 01
Tell us about the pool
Call, WhatsApp or send the quote form with your suburb, pool size and a photo of the pump area if you have one.
- 02
Sizing and a written quote
We confirm the kW rating your pool needs, the placement for the unit and a clear quote for supply and installation.
- 03
Installation and commissioning
Mounting, bypass, pipework and electrical connection, then a full test with the set temperature reached and logged.
- 04
Servicing and support
Annual services, filter and coil care, and repairs whenever the pool drops temperature or the controller faults.
Heat pump sizing
The right kW rating
for your pool.
Choose your pool volume for an indicative heat pump output. Undersized units run all day and never reach temperature; oversized units cost more than they need to.
A guide only. Orientation, wind, a pool cover and your target temperature all change the requirement — we confirm the correct unit on site before you buy.
Our work
Installs that look
as good as they run.
Neat pipework, considered placement and a commissioned unit you barely notice. From new pool heat pump installations to annual servicing across Pretoria East and Centurion.
